What is important to you as you work with Rowe & Deming clients?
Ensuring that the Rowe & Deming team provides our clients with an paralleled level of service, quality, and breadth of expertise, while still meeting the needs of each individual client. I enjoy consulting with individual and business clients, assisting them to efficiently reach their short and long-term financial goals.
What is your education and experience related to your role at Rowe & Deming?
I joined the firm as a partner in 2004 after working for a regional public accounting firm as a Senior Tax Manager. Prior to that, I spent many years working in a Fortune 500 corporate tax environment and in the audit and tax departments of PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. I have served clients in various industries, including agriculture, credit union, retail, manufacturing, and construction.
I earned my CPA qualification in 1993 and am licensed in Oregon and Idaho. I have a Masters of Tax Law and Business Administration, am a member of the Institute of Management Accountants, and am a frequent community speaker on tax, accounting, and personal financial planning topics.
What do you enjoy doing when not working?
I enjoy athletics of all kinds, and after concluding a collegiate basketball and volleyball career, I continue to coach and play/enjoy tennis, softball, basketball, baseball, volleyball, soccer, water skiing, and all types of outdoor activities. My wife, Kelley, and I are the proud parents of three children and that keeps us very busy and on our toes.
